HELENE STAHL HOLM goes beyond the fashion industry’s seasonal dictate and creates shapes that follows their own rhythm. 

Aesthetics, comfort and great materials are key elements in the design process and styles are released when they are ready.

Using only left over materials and producing to orders are key elements in the sustainable mindset that was the foundation of the establishment of the brand. For that reason, production is kept in Denmark.

The Designer

“Having seen the industry from the inside I felt I had no other choice but to start my own brand and to do it in a completely different way.”

Helene, the founder and designer of the brand, established the brand in the fall of 2018. As a fashion designer, she feels a responsibility to push the industry towards a greener future.

Establishing a brand which works completely different than what we are used to, is a challenge, but it’s worth it. Offering consumers a way to shop responsibly and actually buy pieces they will cherish a long time gives Helene so much joy and currage to keep up the work. And keep on looking for beautiful left over materials and turn them into treasurable clothing pieces.

Sustainability

DEADSTOCK FABRICS - Using deadstock fabrics means that we only use fabrics that others had no use for. The last meters of a roll that would otherwise be discarded. They are mainly bought in Denmark and the rest in Belgium. Trims like buttons and interlining are bought deadstock as well.

MADE TO ORDER - The production of our styles only starts when the order is placed. This we do to minimize the impact on the planet and not end up with an overproduction that in the end will have to be discarded. Production is kept inhouse and Helene produces all styles herself.

SLOW FASHION - As opposed to Fast Fashion, Slow Fashion is made to last. This you will experience in the quality of fabrics that stand the test of time, and the fact that no style falls out of collection. Working beyond the industry’s seasonal dictate and dropping styles whenever they are ready are part of the core of the brand DNA.
